Virtual Reality
In the past 3 years, Shirly dedicated time researching and studying XR technology and spatial computing implementation for art and music. Her company Virtuo Studios is focused on bringing new and exciting musical ideas into the world of XR. Shirly has given lectures all around the world about the power of immersive experiences, and her projects won several awards for being innovative and new. Shirly is currently serving as a teacher at XR Terra and still takes mentorship roles for XR whenever she can.
VRSO
VRSO Started as a hackathon project in 2017, and turned into a full video game by 2020.
Shirly led a team of 4, and together they created a unique introduction to the orchestra, and to conducting. The first idea was to just share her passion for conducting and orchestral music using VR. Nowadays, VRSO is a platform for sharing orchestral music in a new and immersive way, as well as an interactive rhythm game that is almost ready to be published.
In 2017, VRSO won the “Top 10 Innovative ideas” in the MIT Reality Virtually Hackathon.

Beethven's Love Letter
Beethoven wrote the moonlight sonata to describe his blind lover how he feels when the moon rises at night. Inspired by this love story, we created an immersive musical experience that lets you not only see and hear, but also feel and interact with the music, putting the user inside a classical masterpiece.
Shirly led her team to build an immersive music VR experience that is accessible for everyone including people with hearing impaired by leveraging the accurate sensors from the new Woojer ryg haptic vest. Transducers on the vest enables people with hearing impaired to feel the music through vibrations corresponding to low frequencies in the music.
Beethoven’s Love Letter won the BSO award and the Unity award at 2018 MIR Reality Virtually Hackathon.
